Comments on Track 3B.1 Proposals:

SDG&E:

• Proposes that energy storage resources be qualified as MCC Bucket 3 (not MCC 1) given the capability of these resources to charge and discharge throughout the day
• Further refinement of MCC buckets needed to ensure consistency with the modified RA framework adopted by the Commission.

2. Effective Load Carrying Capability Methodology for Variable-Output Demand Response
3. Availability Limited Resource Procurement
4. Increased PRM for 2022
