CPUC Issues Proposed Decision on PCIA Methodology and Data Access
The Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") issued a proposed decision ("PD") on June 10, 2022 to resolve Phase 2 issues related to data access and voluntary actions in market price benchmark ("MPB") calculations. This item may be heard, at the earliest, at the Commission's July 14, 2022 Business Meeting.
CPUC issued a proposed decision on PCIA methodology and data access.
- Authorizes CalCCA to conduct a meeting with the utilities on October 3, 2022, to discuss the format and confidential status of cost forecasts and other materials related to the PCIA.
- Grants permission for one CCA program to file on behalf of all CCA programs a Tier 2 advice letter with relevant templates and other documents no later than December 1, 2022.
- CCA reviewing representatives have to simultaneously disclose the type of information they provide to clients and will be restricted to provide this information once per quarter.
