Parties Filed Opening Briefs

Parties filed their Opening Briefs outlining their positions on the trigger application. Parties disagree on the proper amortization period, over which the Commission has complete discretion. See below for a summary of party positions:

SDG&E

• Proposes 22-month amortization period beginning March 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2022.
• Vintage 2020 PCIA rates will not change since they are already capped.

SDCP and CEA

• SDG&E’s narrative does not match the record.  
• Commission should require additional information and workpapers so the CCAs can verify the accuracy of the rates.
