The last time SDG&E updated its sales forecast was January 1, 2019. Since then, a number of factors have affected SDG&E’s electric load and an updated electric sales forecast is warranted. Accordingly, pursuant to the provisions of the GRC Phase 2 Settlement Addendum, SDG&E is submitting this Application for authorization to implement its 2022 Electric Sales Forecast to more accurately reflect the cost of electric service for various customer classes and associated rate options. SDG&E further requests authorization to combine future annual sales forecast applications with its annual ERRA forecast application.
